Message : conditions with that setup? What did you find? Where in the system are you measuring the temps?

I didnt actualy measure the temps but considering that the Z has a real small sump capacity and turbos, it is probably scary. The Z has a bypass type control valve for the oil flow to the cooler which is proably anot the greatest either which I kept just for simplicity sake.

On my friends Skyline GTR which has a larger sump, the oil temps get to 350 degrees plus! I can only assume that the Z is worse without a large cooler. Thats why i also run a 50/15 oil in my car even though it makes the turbos spool slower, I don't want the heat thinning out the oil too much.

Ever wonder why Nismo sells the 20w70 oil in Japan for track use?
